These orchids produce stunningly beautiful flowers and we think the picture speaks a thousand words.
The breeding here is Mps. Hajime Ono x Mps. Arnold Linsman.
This is a division of a blooming size plant and it should bloom again next spring if properly grown. We have a number of these and we'll pick out a nice one for you. These are seed crosses, so there may be a little variation in the flowers, but all are variations on a theme and all are just beautiful.
These are super vigorous and often bear multiple spikes per bulb.
Miltoniopsis orchids are cool growers. Often called "The Pansy Orchid," many of them have a wonderful fresh fragrance.
For home and hobby growers, we recommend them as a houseplant. Just give it moderate indirect light, water thoroughly at least three times a week, fertilize weakly every two weeks. Provide a temperature range of 60 to 75 degrees or so. Repot after every blooming. These do very well under lights and in the house.
