Like other conventional bonsai, it needs sun, wind, and rain to approximate the life of a "real" tree. Sending Live Plants is a Green alternative to sending cut flowers. Cut Flowers that are delivered from the large flower delivery companies are often grown and flown in from South America. These cut flowers or cut roses will only last 3-4 days and then they are thrown away. That is a lot of money and C02 for a gift that doesn't last.
